Howdy walk/bike/bus supporters!
There's some stuff going on y'all might want to know about. Here are the details:
Learn about a Peak Oil case study
Our friends at Sustainable Issaquah are showing the movie "The Power of Community: How Cuba Survived Peak Oil" at their potluck meeting on Tuesday July 9. Potluck at 6:30, movie at 7:15 in the Eagle Room in the City Hall & Police Station building at 130 E Sunset Way. Please RSVP with them at
sustainab...@gmail.com
Become a Walking Ambassador
The city's partner, Feet First, will hold training sessions for its Neighborhood Walking Ambassador program in Issaquah from 5:30-7:30 p.m. July 10, 2013.
Ambassadors will have the chance to lead neighbors and friends on fun, community-focused walks around Issaquah in the coming months.
Share your transportation ideas
There's a short survey on the city's website that will feed into the process of creating a Bicycle Pedestrian plan for all of Issaquah. Please
add your voice.
Hope to see you getting around Issaquah.
