Topic: Sticking with the system and doing the weekly review consistently; problem rigid plan gong into the future; mapping helps with controlling anxiety (remove from view ) and focus on the next action; strip the due dates; key thing only keep in view what you need to do now not the entire list;do no approach project mgmt style. Weekly review don't worry about perfectionism focus on what you need from the review process; schedule review don't be afraid to change if need; book recommendation the one thing (what do you need today, this week this month etc);
if you know weeks going crazy don't move the weekly review away move it closer to current time/date; helps reduce anxiety brings that control back to you
Main Presentation: GTD|REFRESH: Process/Clarify & Organize
-Using voice dictation to capture things in the inbox (out head)
-google now/evernote for capture
-using processing to help with efficiency
-using contexts for helping with decision for processing
-processing happens during weekly review or daily goal setting
-what does this mean for my original intention for the week?
-processing is the algorithm of how to process that data
-input capture output organizing
-omnifocus land input = throw it in; process = where you going to bump into this next
-processing making a value statement ; is this related to another project; is it a next action
example: you receive an email "person get a phd" START the assessment that spirals down a filter of things; make a decision with 5 mins; than the brain can rest ; than you review/organize at the appropriate time
-somedays =im going to do
-maybe = bucketlist (prod prod for additional information)
-think about continued process improvement (every system can be tweaked)
-diff btwn someday/maybe and projects is the fact that data has been processed
