For all of you that remember me I am / was Indiana Guitar Man, former Leader of Hero and chronic moron.. In real life? I am Nathan Shoultz.

I grew up playing Get Tiffany. It's culture and competitiveness made it uniquely addicting. If you look into your hearts, you will remember the challenge of trying to fight against a 3 on 1 zero attack. The suspense that every round would bring, wondering exactly who did what, or who countered what. There were lifelong friendships, rivalries, and occasionally love from every nationality. This game was more than just a game.

Yesterday I opened the site to see what everyone had been up to and found out Travis finally pulled the plug. Travis never gave us the tools we needed to continue our passion. I loved GT, but as the activity died down, I did too. Once upon a time you could not log on during the busy hours from the server being too full.

It is why I am happy to announce that I have officially begun the process of purchasing Get Tiffany. I could not let this game die nor fade into pointless oblivion. As it stands, I am hoping for a late 2015 relaunch of the last version. My team will then begin to develop the game into a masterpiece. I am hoping for an eventual mobile launch which would enable players to play games on the go, alongside the players on the online version.

There is much to be done, and so much work. There is a magic that brings all of you back. After all these years. We need to show that to the world. Everyone should try to join the Facebook group to stay up to date. I'm more than open to hearing from all of you. Ideas, questions, comments, shit talk. It's all encouraged. We are the soul behind this. And we will someday be amazed we were at this point.

This is great news. There are more intricate and graphically impressive games out there, but the same could have been said a decade ago. The simplicity of GT was a big part of its charm and it could still thrive. I'm sure plenty of oldschool players would be up for getting into GT again - I for one will most definitely be active from the outset. Spreading the world and reaching out to ex-players is important. Appealing to new players will be just as vital as well over time, but all in due course. I really don't see why a great community couldn't form once again. When GT was first established, it was a case of creating something out of nothing. It's different this time around since you will have the the foundation of what remains of the old community to be able to build on.

Not sure if this is a wind up or not. For years we've heard travis say it's too complicated for him to sell GT. I'd be happy if GT returned though but just can't see it being possible.

I sincerely hope the purchase goes through! I played GT off and on for about as long as it was online. I used a number of different handles, but most often went by Nuclear Wastoid. I was a member of THC clan for quite some time, as well. I was shocked when I went to the site to start playing again after a long break and saw that it was down. And I can also remember many times battling against a 3-on-1 zero attack, and occasionally zeroing one or two attackers out in the process. Such a fun game!

I remember finding get tiffany on some sort of free web games site. I thought it was silly at first but, dammit, I couldn't stop playing it. Met a lot of cool folks and played some fun rounds of GT. I check back in every now and then to see if the servers are still up. I guess the GT going down was bound to happen.

Indiana Guitar Man, if you're able to purchase GT either to reform it as was, or to secure the IP to rebuild it on a mobile platform, that would be awesome indeed. Call out if there's any help you need.

Either way, fond memories. Stepping into a game and seeing HERO, DMNS and THC all representing, followed by a little series of 'sup'. Gently wiping away a tear of emotion and thinking "I've missed you guys" as you time your Fight action to make it look like you'd attempted to get the second gift because, y'know, MOB. Then spending the rest of the match clinging to survival by the skin of your teeth as three veterans try to zero you.

Or the moment of beautiful karma, when Zero Guy To Left came placed in line just after Zero Guy to Right...and so they went on to beat seven shades of shit out of each other.

Or watching someone wait ages on their move, knowing they're starting at your portrait and thinking "I don't know this guy. But he's got 'asshole looking to zero someone' written all over him. A mobile version of this game would be absolutely amazing to play. So many of us have grown up and moved onto the "adult phase" of our lives. Got married. Had children. Bought a house. Etc. I've often wondered what the GT community was up to and found out Travis took it offline. Several attempts were made to discuss purchasing the game from Travis years ago, but it just didn't happen. I'm glad that he has finally decided to part with it and allow someone else to grow and nurture it.

Looks like I am WAY late to the discussion and clearly this project was abandoned, which is too bad. Game went to total shit the last few years (or more) and I rarely logged in, but at it's prime it was a damn blast!
