Hello all;

We've just posted the first preview build of 1.6 on the https://getseq.net downloads page (find the preview link at the bottom).

This includes much-requested Active Directory authentication support. To enable it, go to Settings > System and change the authentication domain:

To do this you will need either a trial or paid license - when this feature is released it will be a "premium" feature, however all current licensed users will be able to enable it without charge.

After entering your user account details for the target domain, all user logins will be authenticated against that AD domain - local passwords that may be set on those accounts will be ignored.

We'd love to hear how this goes in your environment; it's an early build so I'd consider carefully which machines you upgrade. Let me know if you have any troubles or questions.

More details to come....

Cheers,
Nick
