Hi everyone,

It's been a busy week since the first preview build of Seq 1.5 went out. I've just pushed up build 1.5.10-pre, which I think (foundationally) is a lot further along towards a solid 1.5 release.

There were a few bugs in version 1.5.5-pre that let it down performance-wise, and I think those are all addressed in 1.5.10-pre. In particular, retention policy processing is more efficient, and the internal cache we've just added won't be swamped as badly when string-concatenated messages are logged (http://nblumhardt.com/2014/09/how-not-to-parameterize-serilog-events/).

1.5.10-pre also introduces a nice new collection filtering syntax - you can read about it on the docs site here: https://getseq.atlassian.net/wiki/display/SEQ10/Querying+collection+properties.

Thanks everyone who's tried the new builds and provided feedback thus far.

Cheers,
Nick
