Revoking of sentry permission from an hdfs uri is not working

Have created a table using an external path.first gave grant all privelege to the path and created the table.then revoked all the permission from the path and tried to update the table content.

It is not throwing any permission exception whereas it should have been as all the permission are revoked now.
