Here is how we beat Reform and make a BETTER! Britain

Roger,   We know the system is broken.   And this is why Reform still lead in the polls.   Any new government will have to promise to tear up the system to create real change.   And this is what Reform offers.   But without substance, without a plan and fueled by hate.    Which is why we’re backing the politics of hope and a BETTER! Britain.     People have a right to be unhappy with the status quo.   Which is why, along with over 70 different organisations, all experts in their field, we’re creating a hopeful banner around the three key demands of fair taxes, fair votes and a fair democracy.   A better media - to bring truth, balance and accountability to national issues and debates.   Better taxes - to boost living standards, invest in public services, and limit the political power of the super-rich.   Better votes - to ensure everyone's vote counts, political institutions represent the interests of the majority and the state can’t be captured by the rich and powerful.   But we need your backing to ensure that rallying cry is heard as far and wide as possible.         We know that the fragmentation we’re seeing in British politics is here to stay.   The old two-party system, as outdated as the system that supports it, is over.    Which is why progressives need to work together more than ever in the face of not just electoral defeat, but the threat of the far-right.   So help us create a plan to change the operating system for the whole country.   We must build a unified brand for progressives to rally behind, execute a compelling media campaign to share our hopeful vision, conduct national polling to prove the popularity of our transformative policies, and secure public commitment from key public figures to collaborate on achieving our ambitious aims.     This can be the start of something big, but we need your help to make it possible.   Our warmest wishes,   Lena   Deputy Director, Compass     Already a member?
