For clarity;
“COUNCILS FOR PR is a single-issue campaign with one objective: to encourage local councils in England and Wales to pass a motion supporting the growing cross-party demand for proportional representation to be used in elections to Westminster.”
Any change to Councils would more likely then be part of the “fallout” of changing Westminster... J

The Fair Elections APPG are gearing up for the Elections Bill. Our priority is PR for Westminster and we have launched a call for a commission - National Commission on Electoral Reform: Terms of Reference – APPG for Fair Elections
We are not planning any campaigns on changing the electoral system for councils.

From my side, I’ve been a campaigner with Councils for PR for several years now and as such have worked closely with Make Votes Matter. I’ve even had exchanges with the US PR campaigners.
As activity with C4PR has dropped-off since the General Election, I’ve been campaigning more ‘independently’ of late, although sharing my activities with the aforementioned teams.
I recently started a “pro-PR Social Call” and have held 2 events to date. The thing that has been mentioned the most on these calls is that PR needs more public PR, possibly in the form of a like-minded celebrity (e.g. Carol Vorderman) and I was “actioned” to approach Clive Lewis in that respect (task outstanding).
I look forward to conversing further...
