You’re invited: Annual General Meeting 2025: Liberal Democrats for Electoral Reform

The 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Liberal Democrats for Electoral Reform (LDER) will be held on November 3 via Zoom, starting at 7:30pm.

We are over a year into this Parliament and our 72 Liberal Democrat MPs are front and centre in the fight for fair votes.

With the most pro-PR parliament in history, an overwhelmingly pro-PR parliamentary Labour Party and an increasingly fragmented political landscape, could the conditions finally be ripe for change?

Join us for our AGM to find out what LDER has been doing this year; and discuss the prospect for reform in this Parliament.

All are welcome at our meeting, but only paid-up members of LDER will be eligible to vote.

If you’re a member of the Liberal Democrats, you can join or rejoin LDER using the link below.

We look forward to sharing our work with you and to the next phase of the campaign.

DEBATE SESSION

After AGM formalities, we will host a panel discussion focused on the prospects for electoral reform in this parliament, featuring:

* Lisa Smart MP. Lisa is our new Lib Dem spokesperson for the Cabinet Office; and serves as our Vice Chair on the All Party Parliamentary Group for Fair Elections.

* Olly Glover MP. Olly is our new Lib Dem spokesperson for Transport; and an active member of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Fair Elections.

* Cameron Thomas MP. Cameron is a member of the House of Commons' Environmental Audit Committee; and an active member of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Fair Elections.

After a discussion, the panel will take your questions.

Please register in advance for our AGM using the link below.
