The government is bringing in new laws to change our elections – and this is our chance to make things better. After years of broken promises and an electoral system that left millions of voices unheard, Parliament finally has the chance to fix our democracy. They have already confirmed the Elections Bill will be packed with changes we’ve long been fighting for. This is great progress – but now we need to push them to go further. Because there's still one fundamental change missing: fair votes. They're calling it an 'Elections' Bill, but without proportional representation, it won't fix the key problem with our elections: millions of votes being wasted, seats not matching votes, and politicians only listening to voters in marginal constituencies. Do you think these new laws should include proportional representation to ensure every vote counts equally? When Parliament fails to reflect public opinion, it impacts all our lives – it’s time to ensure seats reflect votes and give power back to the voters. We need to speak up now, while they're still writing these laws. Let's make sure they go all the way and deliver the fair democracy we deserve.
