Does DEBUG work?

Hi,

Have anybody successfully been running GETM 1.7.x in DEBUG mode
(COMPILATION_MODE=debug) recently?

I ask because for me it seems to fail consistently with ifort and give
arithmetic errors (floating exception, integer divide by zero etc).

Presently, I use the sylt test case in pure 2D mode - and even that fails
in DEBUG.

Let me know if it works for anybody else. I would really like to know as I
am contemplating rather large changes to the code and I should like to
know the present status as well as possible.

Hello

I've fixed a few issues in bottom_friction.F90 so it works with DEBUG
mode. Unfortunately I can't commit it since - for a reason I do not
know yet - the network at home has gone. And that is where CVS
resides.
