Side Bar positioning

Hi
I am just getting to grips with the site layouts, which I think are
great and Mao has been a great help to me.
I hope ultimately to create something of my own in Photoshop but there
are certain things that I cant work out. The main one at the moment is
positioning the sidebar within the page. I have two examples below:
first, the konini site does exactly what I want. The second is my
test site and as you can see when I insert the sidebar it appears up
in the top left hand corner.
Can anyone help please?

looks great, try this

Step 1: Select More actions upper right
Step 2: Select Manage site Tab
Step 3: Select Site Layout
Step 4: Select change site layout

Change the header height to 225 pixels. > save
