Can we use gauge Automation without gradel or maven dependencies

Hi Team,

Q ) Can we use Gauge Automation without Gradel  or Maven dependencies ?

Currently we are using with gradel dependency in our Gauge automation.Please let me know is this posible to run witout gradle dependecies . 

Below command we are using in our automation to execute

"gradel gauge PspecsDir=specs/test.spec" 

Q) insted  can we use only   --> gauge run specs/test.spec     ?
