I want to use an Epson ET-2710 all in one printer on my Ubuntu 20.04 desktop PC, and am trialling TurboPrint for the printer as I have found nothing else, but am stuck regarding the scanner drivers. Found Epson Avaysis but it requires SANE package version 1.0.3 or later to be installed before installing Image Scan! for Linux. Looked at download.ebz.epson.net/man/linux/iscan_e.html#sec2 instructions for install are there but no drivers as url not found.dpkg --list returns, sane-utils 1.0.29-0ubuntu5No progress there! Can anyone here please help me out by pointing me to an alternative driver that works?I did find a reference to rpm files but not confident to go down the route of converting files to find they still don't work. From Download Page for sane-utils_1.0.30-1experimental2_amd64.deb on AMD64 machines. Does anyone have experience of this? All and any help gratefully received.

You'll find an installation script there after expanding the tar.gz file.

I have a new Smart Tank 7600 printer (HP030174, [Personal Information Removed]). No matter what I do I cannot get it to scan. It always errors and the screen shows a message about 'turning off the scanner and may be damaged, cannot copy or scan'. I've tried the full set of drivers, the basic drivers. each time uninstalling the previous driver package, clearing the c:\HP folder and the ProgramData files, and removing the driver from print server properties. nothing works. When the doctor utility runs it shows an error on 'Device Manager' 'The device manager is reporting an error that requires a restart'. Restarting everything doesn't change anything. The firmware is SAYAPPPP1N002.2215A.00 (the current version).

I have an HP Smart Tank Plus 655 Printer, Scanner. I only bought it a couple of years ago. All has been working fine until a few months ago when, although the printer is working, albeit slow, the scanner will not work, it is not being recognised on my PC. The only change I have made is to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11. The Printer still appears on my Device List. Can anyone suggest how I can rectify this please?

The Web Pack Installation Package method uses the full driver installation package for your printer. This method is dependent on the Web Pack package being available for your system / OS.

When you start printing after replacing the ink tank, the printer starts cleaning the print head automatically. Do not perform any other operations until the printer completes the cleaning of the print head.

Use a new ink tank for replacement. Installing a used ink tank may cause the nozzles to clog. Furthermore, with such an ink tank, the printer will not be able to inform you when to replace the ink tank properly.

Once an ink tank has been installed, do not remove it from the printer and leave it out in the open. This will cause the ink tank to dry out, and the printer may not operate properly when it is reinstalled. To maintain optimal printing quality, use an ink tank within six months of first use.

If you're using Windows and you've installed a HP driver, VueScan's built-in drivers won't conflict with this. If you haven't installed a Windows driver for this scanner, VueScan will automatically install a driver.

The printer is already installed and can print great. I don't have internet where the laptop is so i need to find how to dowload those drivers put then in a flash drive then i will transfert to them via logmein.

If you want to scan when your printer has detected that one or more of your ink cartridges or ink tanks is empty, you must take one of the following steps concerning each such ink cartridge or tank.

Seat Mod. I am installing the 2.8 gal. IMS gas tank on my 2021 WR250R and it requires me to modify my seat pan. I am sure some of you have already done this. My question is how did you do it? Is it only the seat pan or did you have to do the foam too?

I have the tank and I have the instructions, which state that the seat pan guide be shorten (in a semi circle) about half of the the mounting post slot, at the groove for the front post, (about 1/2 inch). I haven't tried installing it yet since my gas tank is full and it is below zero here. Right now I am just trying to gather information. The info on the seat concepts is confusing since it implies that the seat will be to short (with the missing gas cap cover). I will keep that in mind though. I haven't got around to calling IMS yet. I saw one of these 2.8 gal. tanks mounted on a WR450F last year, but I didn't ask any questions.

The stock fuel cap does not work, it comes with a new cap. In hind site, I wish I had gone with the dry break, it is a smoother instillation and nothing sticks up on the tank. The increase in range is really nice. I can count on always getting 100 + miles.

Eliminate Tank Shifts, Gain Time
Tank shifts take time and compromise the stability of the original scanning setup. Because of its cylindrical shape, 3D SCANNER enables a 65 cm scan range -- allowing full 40 x 40 cm field scans, even at 100 cm SSD and 30 cm depth. Its shape and size remove the need for tank shifts.

Northwest Conversions wheel well water tanks are great for making the most of your van build space. Our water tanks are designed to fit over the wheel well, optimizing the space and having a lower center of gravity. The tanks are made from BPA Free Food Grade Plastic.

We offer a variety of models of different sizes and include ports that are located both in the front and the back of the tank. The 32 gallon wheel well water tank, and other water tank sizes, are designed to use the wasted space around the well. Our clever engineered tank fits the Sprinter 2500, Sprinter T1N and Transit single rear wheel vans. The water tank can also fit other vehicle makes and models.

We have manufactured the tanks with ports on both ends and the top to help meet your layout and plumbing needs. There is additional ports on top for filling or for installing a sensor to monitor the level. Each tank is specified as follows:

The ports that are part of the tank are female NPT thread. You should be looking for male NPT. Most hardware shops, lows, Home Depot or Amazon has these fittings. Boat supply stores normally have a good selection also.
Nylon type fittings work the best.
Thank you

Hi, we have had customers install them in the Chevrolet Express in the past with success. The wheel well of the Chevy is a bit smaller allowing the tanks to fit. Please refer to the product page for measurements of the particular tank you are looking for. Thank you

Hi, the tanks need to be vented. The upper end corners or top port are the normal venting locations. Filling the tank slowly will help as well to reduce the chance of pressurising the tank. The amount of water coming into the tank and the air going out of the tank needs to be about the same or the tank may expand due to pressure. Thanks

Hi,
Yes, you can order the tanks through the web store. Delivery times and prices vary depending on location.n. For most accurate shipping rates, they are calculated just before checkout. Thank you

Thank you again Tyler for calling me super fast and directly to solve my problem ! This level of customer service is so amazing! I have already recommended this tank to a ton of people but now I will recommend the whole company! Thanks again!

Hi, the 32 gallon tank is the largest we make at this time. We recommend having two tanks with one on each side if you are to need more water. This helps balance the weight load over the rear axle.
Thanks

Hi,
How do you recommend people install your tanks? I saw one photo with brackets but the holes seems really small and there were no holes on the bottom. Some images and suggestions would be fantastic. Thank you!

Hi
Yes, you can use one tank as a fresh and the other as a grey water tank. There are several different kinds of sensors to use. You will need to find one that woks with your other systems.
Thanks

Hi Tyler,
Just about to the phase of installing the 32-gallon wheel well tank in our 148 Ford Transit. I have compiled all of my parts, but in reading the above comments and your replies, I see that you suggest nylon fittings. Can I use brass fittings or have you experienced issues with the brass fittings damaging the threaded polyethylene ports? I just want to be sure I do not damage the tank during the plumbing installation process.
Thank you for your assistance and I look forward to receiving your feedback.
Stoked to finally get this installed and put this awesome tank to use!
Best,
Jon & Jen

Hi, Thank you for the purchase of the tank.
For fittings, brass will work but we have found that the nylon fittings seem to seat better. The brass and PVC type fittings seem to be a bit sharper and more fine thus making it easy to cross thread. All NPT fittings will work along with thread sealant of some sort (teflon tape) but the nylon seem to be best in our experience.
Thank you
