Showing some love to skaters at the ASE & Pettit with a new short track padding system in 2018-19!

Skaters, parents, coaches, and others in the speedskating community,

Please read the attached PDF document for some great news regarding a new short track padding system coming to the Pettit for the summer of 2018!

Thanks to an anonymous donation of $30,000 to the Pettit directed for the use of a new short track padding system for use by the ASE program, Pettit short track skating will have the best and safest padding system a boarded rink can have.

The system is in use extensively throughout Quebec with success demonstrated through increased skater safety by reducing G forces to less than half the ISU required standard.

The donation was made by the donor to support the work of Coach Hongyang Wang and the short track program after seeing the program in action and wanting to give current and potential members of the program access to the best and safest training environment possible.
