Hello alums and friends of the Glen Ellyn Speed Skating Club.

We are trying to update and improve our communications so we stay in touch without overloading you with info.

We have created and included you in this googlegroup GESS ALUMNI - for all of our alums, friends from other clubs, others in the speedskating or local community, inactive members and skaters, or, those who may just do dryland or want to help with the Saturday Novice Races on Lake Ellyn, Chicago Silver Skates or Illinois State Long Track meets. WE WANT TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH YOU, but keep the messages focused on key dates, events, announcements, and when programs may be starting or ending.Therefore, we've created this new googlegroup email list for you, to stay in timely touch for only the most important messages and not overload your inbox with training details and board meeting minutes and stuff...

We hope you stay involved in, or, return to speedskating and the Glen Ellyn Speed Skating Club in a more active way if and when the time comes. Between this new email list, as well as the club website at www.glenellynspeedskating.org and the club facebook page at www.facebook.com/GlenEllynSpeedSkating we will try to give you the information you need to feed your interest.
