Dear graduating PGDE (Pri/Pri PE) and PGDE (Sec/Sec PE) student teachers,

 

Due to some recent request, there have been additional programmes included during the Beginning Teachers’ Orientation Programme (BTOP) in 3 – 14 June 213.

 

Kindly refer to the updated programme schedule as appended in this announcement.

 

On a separate note, all PGDE Primary student teachers to take note to be properly attired and to wear fully-covered shoe on 13 June 2013 for the visit to ITE College West. This is to ensure safety precautions are taken as some of the facilities to visit are under the safety boots zone. 

 

The Beginning Teachers’ Orientation Programme is part of the initial teacher preparation programme and as employees of MOE, attendance is compulsory.

 

Please note that attendance will be taken every day and latecomers will not be able to sign the attendance sheet once it is being removed from the registration table. Attendance will be submitted to MOE upon request.

 

You are required to submit a copy of your medical certificate or approved leave application if you are on medical leave or personal leave during that period to:
