Hey G2K -
The Tour de Shuls is right around the corner, and I'm helping get the word out. The bike ride, which starts and ends at Temple Sinai in Dresher, supports the Tikvah Programs at Ramah. For those of you who don't know, the Tikvah programs enable Jewish children with special needs to experience the magic of Ramah Poconos and Day Camp. Starting in 2016, there will be a full-summer Tikvah edah, complete with a brand new "Bet Mogilner" type tzrif. It's a great time, there's a free BBQ, music, and you get to see all of your Ramah friends.
Here's what you need to know:
Distances: 3 mile family fun ride, 20 miles, 45 miles.
There are Ramah teams that you can join (and potentially get a custom Ramah bike jersey, which is amazing), or you can ride on your own. I recommend Rabbi Joel Seltzer's team: Seltzer's Meltzars, which btw is currently leading the entire ride's fundraising. I invite you to register and join in this wonderful event.
Matt Tanzer is CCed and available to answer any questions so feel free to reach out directly.
Thanks!
