Hey everyone!

Happy almost Thanksgiving!  Our now-annual pre-Thanksgiving event is just two days away.  I hope to see many of you there!  But as always, whether you are able to attend or not, please consider making a donation - however much you are able, no matter how small - to the Gesher Fund.

To date, we have raised $24,231 - which is amazing!  But that is also only about $6,000 that camp could use, because the first $18,000 is the principal needed to keep the fund endowed.  (Correct my explanation if I am wrong, finance people.)  So it is still so important for us to keep growing the fund.

Join Us For the Fifth Annual Ramah Alumni Thanksgiving Party!    Date: Wednesday, November 21st   Place: Smokin' Betty's  116 S. 11th St Philadelphia, PA 19107    Time: 9:00pm - 1:00am     It's a little cold for a dip in the brecha or a trip to Jericho's, but it's the perfect time to reminisce about it during our fifth annual Ramah Poconos Thanksgiving shindig! In the spirit of giving thanks, why not spend time with and give thanks for your Ramah friends? It's also a worthy cause, as all proceeds will go towards the Gesher Scholarship Fund in memory of beloved Ramahnicks, Michael Levin and Andy Schloss z"l, and the Ramah Alumni Association.     Whether you're home from college, visiting from out of town, or live in the area, come join us the night before Thanksgiving at Smokin' Betty's. Enjoy drink specials all night, including $3 select bottles and drafts, $5 well drinks, $5 seasonal sangria, and a "Kissing Rock" daily special! We'll also be raffling off some fabulous prizes! If you are interested in donating items to be raffled off, please contact Arielle Davis.   Party is 21+ A $25 donation is recommended in advance or at the door. But we're not turning you away if that's too much. Every little bit helps. And extra would be welcome as well. We strongly encourage you to make your donation before the night of the event.
