| Description: |
Independently oversees
multiple and large QRM projects that involve other internal/external
areas on an ongoing and regular basis.
Principal
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the
Head of QRM and staff, technologists, external vendors, and
stakeholders to understand, prioritize, and execute business goals
and information needs related to projects carried out by QRM.
• Consult with
management and review project proposals to determine goals,
timeframes, funding limitations, priorities, staffing requirements,
and allocation of resources and tradeoffs.
• Prepare written
responses to audit and regulatory reports, establishes procedures to
comply with audit, legal and regulatory requirements
• Interact with
auditors and regulators during examinations
• Develop and implement
new, and enhance existing, policies, procedures and practices
• Manage external
vendor relationships, expectations, and deliverables for critical
project work.
•
Track approvals of relevant documents and follow-up on late and/or
missing approvals.
• Identify, address,
and track to resolution, project issues and risks.
• Create and/or update
end user documentation as needed.
• Track and report
project progress, resources, etc. as required.
Experience:
7+ years of directly
related experience with moderate to large projects ; Risk Management
experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills
Required:
•
Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision
• Ability to work well
under pressure
•
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Good analytical,
problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated
leadership ability in a team-oriented and collaborative
environment
•
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources,
including management, clients, other departments, and vendors
• Proficient in desktop
software including MS Project, MS Visio, and MS Office
applications
Education, Training
&/or Certification: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably majoring in
business, finance or economics with a quantitative bent.
