The ideal candidate will
have the opportunity to develop/enhance software built on a J2EE
compliant, real-time, n-tier framework, utilizing sophisticated
technologies like parallel and distributed processing, SOAP, XML,
etc.
Job
Duties include:
•
Implement, Unit test Java, SQL, & other code as per design
specification
•
Document interfaces, Debug / Fix defects found in own and other code
as needed - follow defined software development process
• Assist in overall
system integration at client site
• Provide inputs and
implement improvements in existing software
• Maintain various
releases of software with implementation and testing support
• Interact with clients
to identify current operating procedures, clarify program objectives
and determine requirements
• Propose and design
programs as per client requirements
• Develop programs as
per client requirements
• Analyze, review, and
alter program to increase operational efficiency or adapt to new
requirements
•
Provide implementation and maintenance support.
Qualifications:
• Requires Bachelor's
degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a
related field of study and at least 3/4 years of experience in
developing software applications and components using JAVA in a
software product development company.
• Requires experience
in developing server side applications using Core JAVA, EJB, JDBC,
Multi Threading, JMS.
• Requires experience
with JBoss, Weblogic application servers.
• Requires
understanding of database applications and database design
standards, entity relationship model, database processing and
normalization.
