| Description: |
software consultant with a
proven track record of building and delivering complex software
systems. As an applicant, you will be an expert web developer who
has worked on at least two RIA projects. We require you to have
experience in building high performance, highly available and very
reliable systems. In addition, we require excellent communication
skills and a deep understanding of the full SDLC.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Participate in the
development and delivery of highly performant RIAs
· Implement
high-performance distributed applications as a key member among a
team of developers
· Participate in the
full development life cycle, including planning, implementation,
maintenance and second level support
· Work in a flexible
team of 3 to 8 developers in an agile environment
· Contribute to the
overall quality of the product in the form of unit tests, automated
acceptance tests and code reviews
· Collaborate with
business representatives, fellow teammates and the quality assurance
team to build flexible and reliable software
SKILLS AND
EXPERIENCE:
Required
· Expert in Java
development (core and J2EE) and JavaScript.
· Solid experience with
other WEB RIA development (Flex, ExtJS, etc)
· Solid experience with
RDBMS (Sybase ASE a plus)
· Solid experience in
Unix/Linux
·
Self-starter capable of working independently and in teams
· Effective problem
solving skills
·
Excellent communication skills
Preferred
· Experience with ORMs
(Hibernate a plus)
· Experience with
JBoss, Spring, Struts, Spring MVC
· Experience with
distributed caches (Terracotta a plus)
· Experience with Web
Services (Axis, CXF a plus)
· Experience with
Eclipse IDE
·
Financial Industry Experience
· Experience with Agile
development (Rally a plus)
· A Bachelor’s or
Master’s degree in a related field
