CompletingFree Play in LEGO games generally consists of unlocking enough abilities to get everything in a level, and "everything" is usually a lot. Here in this game, however, all you need to worry about is reaching True Jedi and collecting 10 minikits. It is highly recommended that you start Free Play after the following:

Invincibility would not hurt after you get Score x6, as it'll be extremely useful for the six battlefield levels (Or, you know, if you're using cheat codes, you're likely overprepared - which is also good).

When you collect all the minikits in a level, you can buy a "classic" character from earlier LEGO Star Wars games. Just go left from the main room in the Resolute and take the elevator down to get there. You probably shouldn't be buying them until you get more multipliers, though.

When looking for minikits in ground battle levels, do everything minikit-related before you start attacking and taking over enemy forces. Many minikits rely on you defeating certain enemy vehicles or amounts of troops. To simplify directions, the 18 circles of territory will be codenamed. The first column, from top to bottom, consists of 1-1, 1-2, and 1-3. This naming scheme carries out to the far southeast corner of 6-3.

Do not save and quit in the middle of a level; instead, finish it to the end. There have been reports that doing this will glitch your save and prevent you from earning certain achievements. If you want to take extra precautions, make backups of your saves.

To start, use the Dark Force on the two objects surrounding a pole on your left. Use a gun character to grapple onto the two orange pieces that appear, destroying the pole and revealing the first (01/10) Minikit. You can cancel your tumbling animation after grappling by switching characters. Next, look for the orange square hatch on the wall furthest from the camera and use a small character to crawl through it. Surprisingly, Robonino can use these, making him even more useful. Jump up and get the next (02/10) Minikit before dropping down. The third (03/10) Minikit is high above the ground and you need to use the Force on the brown cylindrical pieces to make a staircase in order to get to it. Only Jar Jar Binks can make the jump from the top of your stairs to the collectable.

Next up, grab that good ol' red horned monster in the back of the arena and charge towards the camera. Break five food stands with it to unleash the fourth (04/10) Minikit. Stand here and use your sniper character (likely HELIOS-3D or Aurra Sing) to aim at 10 glowing-green ducks up in the stands. Their associated (05/10) Minikit will automatically be added to your total. Take your beast to the left gate and open it using a bounty hunter. Inside are three treadmills; walk on each until they break to get the next (06/10) Minikit. While you're here, use a character like Hevy to destroy the gold object on the wall. This is one of five of its kind.

Hug the outer rim of the arena and step on flower beds to create plants, then use the Dark Force to plant them as you continue breaking the remaining gold objects on the walls. The five plants and five gold items reward you with two more (08/10) Minikits. Strangely, pieces of C-3PO can be found in one of these gold objects, and building him causes an easily-obtained (09/10) Minikit to appear.

The last (10/10) Minikit is a bit odd. Activate a panel using Robonino (or a Magnaguard) and use the Force to coerce four additional droideka into the electric pen. After finishing the level, you may know the sweet bliss of forever purging an entire LEGO level from your future.

Start off by riding around the map and look for five brown tree-ish objects with orbs at the top of them. You should also look for nine-out-of-ten rocks with crystals jutting out of them. Destroy these 14 items for the first (01/10) Minikit with most progress towards another. Next, look around the map for three enemy vehicles with two big circles on the left and right sides. Break down three of these for another (02/10) Minikit. Another easy (03/10) Minikit to collect is hiding in the cliff walls west of 2-2.

To the north between 4-1 and 5-1 are three rocks with small fuming holes nearby. Quickly put the rocks on the holes to get another (07/10) Minikit. Northeast of 5-3 is a pile of bricks. Create an astromech panel out of them and use the spaceship that lands to follow a yellow stud trail leading north. Seeing it to the end grants you another (08/10) Minikit. Return to the astromech panel and head northeast. Activate the panel and use the spaceship to hit all of the orange buttons on the floor throughout the battlefield for one more (09/10) Minikit.

Start off by flying around and shooting down five satellite-looking things and five enemy ships, all of which are marked by green arrows and give you a total of two (02/10) Minikits. Next, fly as far as you can to the left and shoot the red sparkling wall of one of the ships with a CIS vehicle. Fly under the (03/10) Minikit behind the wall to collect it. On the right, on the same ship, overheat the golden plating on the side of the hangar entrance. This also contains a (04/10) Minikit. Fly over to the ship on the right and travel away from the camera towards the left side of the ship. This will cause a new landing pad to become available for later.

Now that all four landing pads are open, start with the pad on the left. Break open the metal boxes in the southwest corner and destroy the big droid inside it. This is one of five such droids. After opening the hatch containing this sprinkler's battery, aim rockets at the metal plates above the (05/10) Minikit here so you can safely get to it. Proceed to the upper landing pad - the one that got blown open with a cutscene. Overheat the three golden bathroom stalls to get a (06/10) Minikit. There are no big droids to kill here, so proceed to the second sprinkler landing pad. Drop to the lower level and use the Force on a super battle droid to overheat the top of a golden container, then finish it off and kill the second big droid.

Fly to the third sprinkler. The third big droid should just be floating in the open here. Overheat the golden plating in front of a crawl hatch when you get to the sprinkler's lever and take the (07/10) Minikit outside. When the red Republic cruiser has been caught in a tractor beam, make sure you land on the new landing pad! Overheat the gold block in the southeast corner and use the parts to get down to this pad's (08/10) Minikit. The fourth big droid is in a box in the northwest corner. Save the cruiser and enter the hangar.

Set up the first base at the start of the level, then look to the cliffs on the right to find the first (01/10) Minikit. Next, drive around on your speeder and destroy ten leafy plants for the next (02/10) Minikit. Four such plants are in the starting area alone. At the area north of 2-1, use the bounty hunter panel to start a 90 second timer. You'll get a (03/10) Minikit if you kill 50 droids within that time, which is easiest done by just running over them with your speeder. The fourth (04/10) Minikit is obtained by destroying three enemy tanks. You are now free to destroy all enemy buildings, but try to keep one shield up so you don't accidentally destroy the target too early.

Approach the area near 3-3 and look to the northwest. Build the pieces to create an astromech panel, then use it and drive the vehicle you get through a stud trail that progresses from white to yellow to blue. You will force a (05/10) Minikit out of hiding by doing so. Southwest of 6-3 is a protocol droid panel that reveals buttons for vehicles. Ride over all of them at a relatively quick pace for another (06/10) Minikit. Drive to the northeast corner of the map and use the Dark Force on a rock to get its (07/10) Minikit, then travel south along the right wall until you find an electric panel. Use it and grapple the clock for another (08/10) Minikit.

The ninth (09/10) Minikit is located at 4-1. Take it over and build three buildings on any space that isn't the one that used to have the droid base on it (easily visible by the grey piece lodged in the ground. Finally, take over enough spaces (which is all of them for this level) to build a (10/10) Minikit dispenser to finish your collection.

Since this level's battle section has three waves and you can't keep fighting after the third round, it's imperative that you collect the battlefield's five minikits as soon as possible. You can do this all within Round 1.

Cut into the cave's opening and immediately look to your right to find a red crystal. Destroy it, as it is one of five required for a minikitt. Carry on forward slightly, blow up a metal spiderweb and walk past to get outside, then use the Force on an egg and take it far up to a nest. The (06/10) Minikit will hatch; make your way up to it to claim it for yourself. Smack the second crystal as you approach the first triangle puzzle. After setting the triangles in place, wait until the door on the right opens. Activate the astromech panel and wait for a droid to stop dancing, then take its (07/10) Minikit interior. You should find the third crystal on your way to the next triangle puzzle.

Wait for the door on the right to open once again and grapple the shower curtain open, then take the (08/10) Minikit in the rightmost stall. The last two crystals are within the last hall and room; these will count towards the ninth (09/10) Minikit. When fighting the tank, look around the room for five yellow plus-shaped contraptions with blinking lights. They'll flip around when you approach them; use the Force on all five to get the last (10/10) Minikit. You should be able to avoid dealing with the tank if you use Cad Bane to throw detonators at the core while he's hovering in the air.
