Dear all,

my name is Eike, Social Media Specialist of the Global Economic
Symposium. As we will work together a lot in the near future I thought
it might be a good idea to introduce myself real quick. I'm 26,
studied Politics, Media and German Literature, live in Kiel and
Hamburg (north of Germany) and work for the GES since October 2011. I
was always very much in Social Media and consult many different
clients as a freelancer. (The GES is my first notable fixed
income. ;) ) I'm very looking forward to your contributions and so
exited about what we will achieve. You play a key role for the GES as
you are our "crazy" ones able to write whatever you want, criticize,
blame or praise the GES for what it does and for what it is. You
decide. We are trying to become more transparent, open and caring for
what people really want us to do. Everybody demands answers, so let's
find them together. Join us in our quest to seek solutions for the
world's greatest problems. And moreover: Let's all give our energy,
commitment, spirit and creativity to get the good ideas implemented on
decision level. But don't be too polite with us, you are here to write
what you think, you are free, you are independent. You only have to
give your very best. And so do we.
