Year-End Report and Appeal
|
We have just experienced a very devastating two years of war since the Oct. 7th attack and the Israeli disproportionate disastrous response.
|
During this period we were unable to use our East Jerusalem office because Co-Editor Ziad AbuZayyad and all other Palestinians who live in the West
Bank are prohibited from entering East Jerusalem by the extreme right-wing Israeli government. Despite this severe obstacle, we maintained regular daily communication with all 15 Israeli and 15 Palestinian members of the PIJ editorial board via a PIJ WhatsApp
group, email, and telephone. Working from our homes, we also managed to prepare and publish two major PIJ issues in the wake of the war on Gaza, “A Joint Search for a Way Forward: From Conflict to Conciliation, and “Palestine State Recognition: A Path Complementing
the Two-State Solution” that was distributed to all 193 delegations at the UN General Assembly meeting in September:

We have many innovative plans for 2026, including more on-line and social media activity, new PIJ podcasts and involving younger generation of Israelis
and Palestinians in our activities. You are our partners in this unique, joint project and our struggle for peace. We welcome your suggestions and comments.
