Hello Neighborhood Leaders,

It looks like we've got some SNOW headed our way, so here are some updates from the City. Please share the following important information with your residents:

SOLID WASTE COLLECTION CANCELED FOR FRIDAY, JANUARY 10
Due to the forecast of snow and the closure of the Quad County Landfill, sanitation collection for Friday, January 10, including trash, recycling, and yard debris, has been canceled. The landfill will also be closed on Saturday, preventing any delayed collection. As a result, collection will occur next for Friday customers on January 17.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize safety during this time. For updates, visit Germantown-TN.gov.

CITY FACILITY CLOSURES
Due to the expected accumulation of 4 to 8 inches of snow overnight, the City of Germantown is taking extra precautions to ensure public safety. City Hall, Economic and Community Development offices, Germantown Parks and Recreation, the Pickering Center, Germantown Animal Shelter, Germantown Performing Arts Center and Germantown Community Library will be closed to the public on Friday, January 10. Germantown Athletic Club will open at 9 a.m. and close at 4 p.m.

Police services will be accessible through the back entrance of City Hall, opposite the Farmington Boulevard entrance. While City Hall is closed, City staff members will be working remotely to continue to maintain services for Germantown residents.
