As we enter the third year of the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing communities together continues to drive our mission of helping children and families thrive. Low-income families with children are especially impacted by the hardships the pandemic has brought - and now, inflation is making it even harder to afford basic needs.

None of what we do at Operation Warm would be possible without the efforts, generosity, and dedication of our partners. The gift of brand-new coats and shoes has acted as a bridge to connect families in the communities they live, with the resources they need to weather these hardships - including vaccinations, literacy services, food, wellness resources, and more. In this month's newsletter, we highlight the many ways our partners and Operation Warm have worked together to strengthen the community ties that help families stay resilient and hopeful.

Starting Out on the
Right Foot
Sunday marked the first day of spring, but we've already sprung into action with shoe gifting events across the country.

As days get longer and temperatures get warmer, our partners are distributing brand-new shoes to kids in need, along with resources such as books, vaccinations, and more. In this month alone, we've served kids in countless communities in North Dakota, Florida, Utah, Alabama, and more - and our shoes are continuing to make their way across the country.

Our brand-new shoes foster confidence and encourage outdoor play at the ages when it matters most, helping kids feel the confidence they need to make new friends, run around, and develop healthy habits. Just as importantly, this gift alleviates a financial burden for families who cannot otherwise afford new shoes for their growing children.

Check out the ways you can provide brand-new shoes to children in your own community!

Or, Donate to help us provide more shoes in communities across North America.
