Good Day, Im currently in a community based participatory research class at University of Penn. Our class ends with a symposium for us to pitch our work to academic partners for funding and research support. Social Justice Stops The Violence Care and Share Collective is Looking to stop the violence of generational selfish poverty habits with a two generation digital literacy and personal care approach. Mentoring the parents and children helps bridge gaps as a family.
Most Mentoring programs in our communities operate in schools during the school year. Not all of our youth have access to these programs and parent cafes are just as scares. As a collective we look to offer outreach and extended hours at our site for our communities to utilize digital and personal resources, support with lifelong mentoring and peer to peer networking on various platforms. 
Most of the families that i have connected with do not have the technology in their homes to bridge the digital literacy gaps.
