215-686-5322 Calling all gardeners, cooks and families who love food! Come together to share stories about food, from the earth to the table. In this workshop we will use storytelling and oral history techniques to cultivate pride in the ways we connect to food. Through hands-on activities, we will demonstrate the power that our memories have in shaping our traditions around growing, cooking, and eating food.
This workshop will focus on nourishing inter-generational relationships, a wonderful way to keep food traditions alive.
Together, we’ll have fun dreaming of summer days in the garden and sampling healthy, fresh food… grown right here in Philly!
There is no advanced registration. This program is First Come, First Served. There are seats for 36. We will open the doors at 9:15 a.m.
