Dear Friends - You are invited to join us for an informative Open House at our tuition-free charter school (with its wonderful German program - watch for an upcoming invitation to our Fasching Festival!).

Desert Sky Community School, a tuition-free K-5 charter school, located at 122 N. Craycroft Road (just north of Broadway), will host an informational Open House for families with children entering K through 5th grade in the fall from 10:00am to noon this Saturday, January 22. Open Enrollment for the 2011-2012 school year begins on February 1, 2011. Desert Sky, which opened five years ago, is the only charter school in the Tucson area inspired by Waldorf Education and plans to grow through eighth grade. Waldorf methods education emphasizes teaching appropriate to the child's developmental level. Educational opportunities include art, music, movement, and Spanish and German twice a week starting in first grade.
