If you pay any AZ State Income taxes, please consider redirecting up to $200 of the taxes you pay anyway as a single filer or $400 as a joint filer to Desert Sky Community School, a non-profit tuition-free charter school where all students learn German twice a week from a fully certified teacher with a degree in German language instruction, and German cultural events are regularly celebrated (next: Fasching!). Under this extracurricular tax credit program for public schools, you get a dollar-for-dollar credit against the AZ state income taxes you pay, in addition to any credit you might get for donations to private school tuition organization donations including IST. In other words, this won't cost you a penny! Please call me at home at 321-9081 with any questions.
Please go to http://www.desertskycommunityschool.org/shop.html and click on desertskycommunityschool.org/taxcreditform to print out a form (also attached to this email) to complete and mail in with your donation, or just go to the bottom of the page and click on “donate now” to make your donation by credit card (Be sure to note in the designation box that this is a tax credit donation). Either way, please be sure to make your donation by December 31!
