German language program, Hinterzarten

been organizing a German language program that will take place in
Hinterzarten, Germany this summer in conjunction with the Interharmony
Music Festival from July 21st to August 2nd. I wanted to share this
program with you because I believe that it could be an exciting
opportunity for German students that you may know.
Through our language program at the Birklehof School, we will immerse
students in the German culture and traditions. The program consists
of morning German language classes tailored to each student’s
proficiency level. Our experienced and qualified teachers will give
each student the individual attention needed to build speaking
confidence and to progress in reading and writing.
During the afternoon, students take part in excursions and activities.
As they explore Freiburg’s old city, visit museums or bike ride
through the Black Forest, they will actively discover German culture,
food and customs and practice their conversational abilities. We aim
to get students comfortable speaking German through situation based
learning.
The program also hosts a famous festival with a diversity of renowned
musicians; this is a unique opportunity for students to experience
world class music while furthering their language skills. The evening
festival concerts are an integral component of the cultural learning
experience.
