German Soccer Tournament! Sign up now open

The University of Arizona Department of German Studies and its student
club, the Deutscher Studenten Club, introduce the first annual
Deutscher Studenten Cup, an international soccer tournament open to
the public. Teams made up of local professionals, university faculty,
staff, students and alumni will play against one another in world cup
style modus at this fun event, which will be held in 2010 on Sunday,
September 19 on the UA Mall. The tournament is a fundraiser for a
study abroad scholarship in the club’s name.

Faculty, Students, and all others are encouraged to help the club
raise money and enjoy a fun-filled day playing against fellow friends,
faculty, greeks and local companies.

Games will be 6 on 6 (additional substitutes allowed) with a playing
time of 15min+ in a world cup style tournament.
