Fedora Camp Needs You!
This year, the Fedora Program is re-launching the Fedora Camp! Previously a staple of our community engagement programming, Camps took a hiatus during the global
pandemic. But we are looking to relaunch later this year with the 2025 Fedora Camp!
As planning gets underway we are seeking individuals to join the Planning Committee. Planning Committee members will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including,
but not limited too:
-
Content creation for marketing materials
-
Community communication planning around the event (registrations, call for proposals, etc.)
-
Program scheduling
-
Coordination with local host on venue matters
-
Wiki event page management
Time Commitment:
·
During the early stages of planning, Committee members can expect to meet on a bi-weekly schedule for approx 1 hour. As planning proceeds, and closer to
the event, the commitment may increase.
-
8-10 months of your time
-
We are aiming to host the Camp in late summer or early Fall, but exact timing will depend on Host location availability.

needs and why they chose Fedora to be part of it.

migrations and unique use cases, to help build a stronger network of knowledge among our global users. These stores offer valuable perspectives for organizations exploring Fedora’s capabilities.
In the first article, John Gostick from Cambridge University Library walks us through the details of their redesigned digital repository featuring Fedora 6.x.

Fedora Registry
Help us understand Fedora’s global footprint. In order to see the most accurate information about Fedora installations, we are asking all users to submit their updated
Fedora information via our new registry submission form below.
-
This new form allows you to register multiple Fedora instances in one submission, eliminating the need for multiple entries.
The registry’s goal is to help us understand our install base, and what versions of Fedora are being used globally. This critical information allows the program
team to continue to provide the support necessary for our entire community of users.
