Hi Everyone,

Today we are excited to announce that this year the Fedora Program will be relaunching the Fedora Camp! On hiatus since the global pandemic, Fedora Camps were once a staple in Fedora community programming. And this year, we’re bringing them back!

What is a Fedora Camp? Think Virtual Showcase meets hands-on workshops, geared specifically for Fedora users. An all-in-one opportunity to gather, engage, and learn alongside your fellow Fedora community members. And a great chance to connect face-to-face. But not to worry, Fedora Camp is not intended to replace the Virtual Fedora Showcase…merely supplement it!

Here’s what we need today:

A Host - Are you interested in Hosting the first Fedora Camp since 2019? We are seeking interested institutions to partner with the Fedora Team to facilitate the 2025 Fedora Camp.

            Read more details here: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/FF/Fedora+Camp+2025

A Planning Committee - We need YOU! We need volunteers to help organize this event and coordinate planning efforts starting now and leading up to the event.

            Read more details here: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/FF/Fedora+Camp+2025

If you are interested in either or both of these opportunities and have additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Arran Griffith at arran.g...@lyrasis.org. More details will continue to follow as we begin planning for this exciting event!

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Arran
