Does it make sense to go with Enterprise version of the OS (we have W7 PRO now)?

As pointed out, in order to create a golden image of your OS, each device must be licensed for that version of Windows (Pro/Enterprise) and you need to use VL media to create your image and Volume Activation to active Windows 10. Only real hesitation I have with using best practices from Microsoft is they tend to contradict themselves at times. Example one best practice is to not use Azure Ad for less than 20 users. when that simply in lots of peoples opinions. Also if you every used MSBP Analyzer it will tell you to change something then next scan tell you to change it back.From a licensing stand point always follow best practices provided by Microsoft. I guess what I am trying to say is use best judgement. Below are some of my best practices,
Know you hardware. Good example is imaging problems can be caused by different revisions of mainboard even in the same model number. for this if you can remove all USB driver from the image. This seems to be the thing that changes most from revision to revision .
With ENT it is a lot easier to control and/or turn off a lot of the extra stuff like Cortana and the Store, but it is a big expense. You can most of the same stuff in PRO but it will be more of a manual process, editing reg entries, removing apps, disabling scheduled tasks and things like that. Pro is a lot cheaper in cost, but you can make up for it in man hours.
Definitely look over it before you run it, it does a lot of things besides remove apps too! Also there is now a how-to for adding it to your MDT tasks as well for a nice, automatically cleaned Windows.
