Hi Vikash,

I'm happy you're interested in that project! I created a thread on our
forum (http://forum.gephi.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1751) to discuss about
it. You'll need to submit a proposal for the project and detail what is
your plan to implement this before April 6 I believe. Until then we have
time to discuss the specifications on the forum thread. Please don't
hesitate to ask any questions.

I would advise you get familiar with Gephi source code by downloading and
running the code. More details here:
