Hello,
Can I get a confirmation from volunteers who wish to help out for tomorrow’s event? I will need you at 5pm at Education North, 4th floor, arts based research studio.
Human Trafficking – Exploring the Issue Through Community Performance (September 30)
In partnership with ACT Alberta, the Indo-Canadian Women’s Association and Changing Together: A Centre for Immigrant Women, we will showcase performance pieces that centre around the topic of human trafficking. This event will share information about human trafficking and how the organizations address this issue at the community level. As well, it will examine the role of community performance in raising awareness about social issues. Youth representatives from organizations will perform skits on the topic of human trafficking and share their process and motivation for addressing this issue in their communities.
Co-sponsors: Arts Based Research Studio and International House.
