Subject: Faculty position: Assistant Professor of Public Affairs and Climate Policy at U.Wisconsin-Madison

Dear Colleagues,

I hope this message finds you well. I am thrilled to let you know that we are searching for an Assistant Professor of Public Affairs and Climate Policy in the La Follette School of Public Affairs here at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The selected candidate will conduct productive research, be a committed teacher, and welcome being part of an interdisciplinary department dedicated to promoting good public policy. Teaching will involve core courses in Public Affairs and International Public Affairs, as well as upper-level electives in climate and environmental policy. We seek a scholar who will conduct research on the determinants of government policy on climate change and/or its domestic and international political and policy implications. The scope of topics we will consider within climate change and climate policy is broad, but the selected candidate's work must include explicit focus on the roles of governments. We are especially interested in candidates whose teaching and research will contribute to the Masters in International Public Affairs program.

Deadline is October 15, 2019.  More here.

Please forward this announcement to any candidates you think might fit. I would also very much welcome your recommendations of specific candidates and of course would be happy to talk more about the position.

All the best,

Mark
