Dear Colleagues,

Please join us for the next session of the Environmental Politics and Governance Network's "Climate Policy Roundtable" on Friday, May 1 12:00pm to 1:15 pm EST/ 9 to 10:15am PST.

The topic for the next conversation is: "The Future of ESG."

You will need to register in advance here https://brown.zoom.us/meeting/register/8_IHf-OATNeBsPuXD6c1hA in order to receive the Zoom link.

We plan to discuss the following questions:

  • How would you characterize the current state of ESG?  Is ESG dead, transforming, or quietly strengthening?
  • Do recent limits on shareholder advocacy and proxy rules meaningfully weaken ESG’s influence? Or do they simply shift where and how pressure will be applied?
  • What policy developments have been most consequential to the trajectory of ESG in the past year? Looking ahead, what forces are most likely to shape ESG’s next phase?

We hope that you will be able to attend.

Jennifer Hadden, Aseem Prakash, and Shek Jain
