Cheerful autumn,

Assistant Prof hire at University of Alberta in climate politics, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary and intersectional approach to climate justice.

UAlberta is Canada’s fifth-largest research university, and our department is unusually congenial and progressive for the discipline of political science. (Our department is not territorial about discipline and will give serious consideration to folks with PhDs in the humanities or social sciences generally.)

Edmonton’s a cool, medium-sized city about three hours from the Rockies, with a lot of natural beauty.

Please feel free to put people in touch with me if they’re interested.

The link for info and applications is https://www.careers.ualberta.ca/Competition/A111148678/ and review of applications starts on Nov 21.

With many thanks,

David

I acknowledge and respect the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples on whose territory the university stands and the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day. The process of colonization is ongoing as are resistances to it. My intention is that the research and teaching I do be in the service of decolonization.
