Hi Gepers,
I’m writing with an opportunity for students to learn about solar energy and lead the clean energy revolution in an experiential way. RE-volv is an organization that freely finances and installs solar panels on the roofs of nonprofits. RE-volv works with teams of students across the US to identify nonprofits near campus wishing to go solar and to manage the process from inception to installation. RE-volv has worked with a wide variety of colleges and universities including University of Wisconsin, Coastal Carolina University, Swarthmore College, University of California Santa Barbara, and University of Dayton. RE-volv offers fellowships for students to attend training workshops and exposes students to leaders in the clean energy field.
RE-volv is currently looking for new university partners. If you, a colleague, or any students you know want to get involved, please encourage them to attend a special webinar, June 2, 2020 (11 am PDT). The webinar will feature clean energy leaders, current nonprofit partners, and students who have worked with RE-volv. You can register here for the webinar.
(I advise a team of students at American University and am planning to teach a course next academic year that involves students in RE-volv projects. I’m happy to answer any questions.)
I hope to see you at the webinar.
