DEEP CLIMATE CONVERSATIONS
Topic: “Business Responses to Climate Change”
Wednesday, April 26
12:00-1:15 PM EST (9:00-10:15 am PST)
The Environmental Politics and Governance network (epgnetwork.org) has launched a new initiative, Deep Climate Conversations. This will be an online structured roundtable (i.e., questions circulated in advance to speakers) on a specific issue. The objective is to explore climate issues at a deeper, theoretical level.
This will be a 75-minute event: 60 minutes for discussion of planned questions, leaving about 15 minutes for comments from the audience. We have scheduled it for April 26, 12:00-1:15pm EST.
Please register in advance here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

The roundtable will focus on the following questions:
- What are the key questions about business response to climate change in your discipline? Are mitigation and adaptation covered equally? What are the key findings?
- Traditionally, conservatives have taken a pro-business position in politics. Is this political alignment still relevant in the context of climate change issues?
- What are the most pressing research frontiers in the study of business response to climate change?
