Dear colleagues,

I’m very pleased to share a new exclusive three-part podcast show, offered to you by the University of Warwick (Energy GRP): Turmoil!

Turmoil is now exclusively available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Sounder.fm.

In this show, we explore some of the most pressing challenges and opportunities of the global energy transformation. We examine the geopolitical implications of these profound changes, how 'new' types of climate activism—such as shareholder activism and climate litigation—can help accelerate this transformation, and what this means for the fossil fuel industry. In our third episode, we pay attention to the implications of Russia's war in Ukraine and the ripple effects it creates on energy markets, in Europe and beyond. Will the war accelerate or rather slow down the necessary transformation?
