Hi everyone!

I wanted to circulate the preprint of the final version of our piece "Supporting the Next Generation of Global Environmental Politics Research: A Call to Dialogue and Action" that has been accepted at Global Environmental Politics. Since many folks on this listserv expressed an interest in learning about ECR perspectives and understanding how to better support our work within GEP when we launched this project, I wanted to circulate this here. Additionally, thank you to those ECRs on this listserv who participated in these conversations or completed the survey (or to mid and senior career scholars who were so kind as to help us recruit participants).

We will be following up with some institutional facing one-pagers with a summary of what we learned and how we think institutions can strengthen support for ECRs in the field of GEP. Please let me know if you have questions, feedback, or suggestions of who we can partner with to build on this work!

Thanks,
Devon

Hello everyone,

Devon and I are organizing an event to present the new release of our Transnational Governance of Urban Wellness in the Americas (GUWA) database. Urban wellness here encompasses a great variety of issues, but the environment appears to be the most significant topic addressed.

The event will take place on Oct. 15, at 10 am MDT. It will be hybrid, with the possibility to join in-person in you live near Edmonton, or online. We will present the work we have done with a team of undergraduate students and the opportunities offered by the database.

To register, fill out this Google Form.

Also, feel free to share this invitation with other people who could be interested.

Best wishes,

Marielle (also on behalf of Devon)

We acknowledge that the land on which we gather in Treaty Six Territory is the traditional gathering place for many Indigenous people. We honour and respect the history, languages, ceremonies, and culture of the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit who call this territory home.
