Nominate Students for ISA-ESS Grad Paper Awards

Dear colleagues,

If you have students who has presented at ISA in 2026, please consider nominating their papers for the ISA ESS Grad Paper Award. This award is a great way to help your graduate students get a leg up in the academic field. Not only does it come with recognition and a prize, one of the conditions of the award is that the winner will receive support/mentoring geared towards making the paper eligible for publication in Global Environmental Politics.

Please note the following conditions:

• Only papers that were presented at ISA 2026 are eligible
• The deadline for nominations is August 15th
• At the time of presentation, the author(s) had to be graduate students
• The award comes with a prize of $150, a certificate, and mentorship and consideration for publication in GEP
