Dear colleagues,
To commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) over the next year, the Center for Governance and Sustainability at the University of Massachusetts Boston is launching the UNEP at 50 Dialogue Series with leaders around the world who have shaped UNEP’s history. The inaugural conversation is with the Executive Director of UNEP, Inger Andersen, on Friday, May 7, 2021, at 10:00 EDT.
In early June, we will speak with Achim Steiner, currently Administrator of UNDP and former Executive Director of UNEP (2006-2016). We invite you and your students and colleagues to join this dialogue space as we explore untold stories and reimagine environmental multilateralism.
