Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellows are outstanding scholars whose independent research plans focus on innovative solutions to pressing technological, economic, and/or policy challenges in energy and the environment. Ideal candidates will forge new collaborations between Andlinger Center faculty and scholars that explore creative research directions. The program provides a unique opportunity for fellows to:
• establish their independent research in collaboration with world-class faculty and scholars,
• advance their professional development working with expert mentors, and
• join an interdisciplinary community blending engineering, science, technology, policy, and social dimensions.
Each year, we appoint a selective cohort of two or three fellows, who hold the rank of postdoctoral research associate and receive a salary of $75,000 and an annual professional development fund of $3,000. This is a two-year fellowship with renewal for the second year contingent on successful progress. |

Applications and Selection Candidates are to develop a research proposal in consultation with at least two Princeton faculty or senior scholars with whom they intend to collaborate. The proposal and a personal statement form the core of the application, which is reviewed by a faculty committee in charge of selecting the incoming cohort of fellows.
