Dear GEP-ED colleagues,
I'm the Graduate Program Director for the Masters in International Relations program at the University of San Diego. We are hoping to recruit applicants with an interest in global environmental politics to join a diverse and engaged cohort of international relations scholars. We accept students from a broad range of undergraduate disciplines, including political science, international affairs, environmental studies, geography, history, anthropology, sociology, and economics, among others. This interdisciplinarity is echoed in our diverse faculty of IR and comparative politics scholars as well as practitioners from various fields, including diplomats, retired military officers, and NGO leaders. We offer generous scholarship support to successful applicants, and we build travel courses into our program that are cost-neutral with studying on campus. Recent travel courses have brought students to Belize and Guatemala, New Zealand, South Africa, Turkey, Japan, Morocco, Cambodia, and as observers to NATO conferences in both Copenhagen and Brussels.
Note that the deadline to apply for Fall 2024 entry is June 1. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions about the program.
Many thanks, and good luck to us all as we put a bow on another semester!
Andy
