Good morning from a cloudy London all,
I wanted to bring your attention to two new studies I hope will be relevant for your work.
The first looks at the political ecology and spatial justice issues of solar energy manufacturing in Germany, revealing elements of dispossession and sacrifice: “Volatile Photovoltaics: Green Industrialization, Sacrifice Zones, and the Political Ecology of Solar Energy in Germany”, available at https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/24694452.2020.1856638?src=.
The second offers a 20 year high level review of justice and political ecology literature in the space of energy and climate, and it tries to offer suggestions for future research: “Who are the victims of low-carbon transitions? Towards a political ecology of climate change mitigation,” available at https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S2214629621000098?via%3Dihub.
Both studies attached but happy to share if you can’t access them.
Sincerely,
Benjamin (and co-authors)
Good morning
My Mexican niece is interested in pursuing a Master’s degree in environmental education. I figured compiling a list from people in this group could be of use to her and others so interested—who will take over from us!!!
Welcome your feedback as well as ideas on how such a student could fund their Master’s.
Appreciate your responses!
